-Training is completed under the supervision of Lash Trainer, Briana Campos Ruiz. She has been a certified Lash Tech Since 2017. Briana has been certified in 2 different types of Volume Lashes as well as Classic Lashes. In 2019 she was chosen to go to Houston to certify as a Trainer for Volume and Classic Lashes. The training Briana has received is different than every other lash tech in the province and she will share the years of experience and knowledge that have earned her a 5 star rating on Google. -Even after 20 years lashes are a really lucrative market and well trained lash techs are always in high demand. -In person training and support make this course a snap! (especially to hands on learners)
What is involved in training with Phoenix Lash Academy?
The course is 1.5 days of in person training. The first morning is Theory and Lash Tech/Business 101. The afternoon is spent writing a short multiple choice exam then practicing the skills learned on a lash training mannequin as well as Q&A.
The second day you will come back in the morning or afternoon (one or the other) and bring a model of your choosing (think close friend, mother, sister, cousin, aunt) and complete 2 hours of practice on your live model under my direct supervision.
After the course you are expected to practice as much as possible and complete a minimum of 5 full sets and 3 fills of lashes within 2 months (1 month is recommended). You will photograph these and submit to me for feedback.
Once those practice sets are complete you will be sent your certificate and considered fully Certified by Phoenix Lash Academy as a Classic Lash Tech!
What is the cost?
The cost for Classic Lash Training is $999.
What is included in the cost?
- 1.5 days of in person training - A step by step manual that includes my exclusive tips and tricks of the trade as well as all you need to know to get your own lash business started - A training kit with enough product to do over 50 sets of lashes. If you stick with the training and practice, you will earn the cost of the course back within the first 45-60 days without having to purchase any more product. That means that $999 is the cost to start your own business! - A certificate upon completion of course and practice lash sets required - Personal instruction and feed back upon practice - Lifetime support on everything lash involved. (troubleshooting lash issues, how to grow your business and what works and doesn't with getting started in the lash industry) -small class size of 1-4 people which means you get focused attention and asistance.
What else do I need at home to start my business?
-a lash bed or massage table (usually these can be found for cheap on Kijiji or Varage Sale) -an overhead light -a height adjustable stool/chair for you to sit on -an area to set up your table and light and receive clients -a desire to practice diligently to make your skills efficient (honestly.....it is not rocket science to put lashes on but at first it is very difficult, awkward and time consuming so if you do not practice diligently for the first few weeks you will likely become frustrated and quit)
Can I take Volume Lash Training with Phoenix Lash Academy?
The course for Volume Lashes is being created right now and will be available in the coming months, however you must be trained in Classic Lashes before you will be able to attend the Volume Lash Training. Classic Lash training gives you base knowledge about lash anatomy, theory, basic lash techniques and hygiene. The Volume course will only concentrate on the the art of Volume lashes. Think of Volume as an add-on course!
